Ah, the gaming days of the Sega Genesis, when most hardcore Mortal Kombat fans remember the game being at its peak (unless you had an arcade near you). Let’s face it though, the last couple of Mortal Kombat titles haven’t exactly lived up to their name, but Midway is planning on changing that train of thought.
Noob.com has been the focal point of Mortal Kombat fans over the past few weeks, and now a mysterious code has appeared on the website as the unveiling of the info is within 15 hours of revealed. The code looks like the following if translated from numbers to an alphabet form:
e s y r o t s l i f e l - life, story
e e r f d n a l s i v e - free, land
r s v e d e n i l n o d - online, vs
t o d d a e r d e i l a - lied, read, dot
u l w o r g a e e s v c - growl, see
r k o m b a t d p h e r - kombat
n i n i a r a e p s d a - spear, rain
a m e m i r c e a e r n - crime
r e v i t c e p s r e p - perspective
o z i e w d a r k t a r - dark
u e c m o n e v h o m e - home, venom
n e t m a o d e e l b t - bleed, net
d r i i n o r t l o o f - fool, tron
e f m l t e l e p o r t - teleport
l e t s a g e v w i i w - let’s age wii
While this took quite a bit of determination and maybe be a crazed Mortal Kombat fan helped, there do seem to be quite a few hidden messages encoded. We’ll let you decipher what you think most of it means, but it does seem to point to the game being on the Xbox 360 (home), Playstation 3 (online), and Wii (wii).
What we do know is that this upcoming title will be using the Unreal Engine 3, and that the official news will be released to the public tomorrow!
