EA announced the opening of The Godfather II website for their upcoming take on the game due out in February of 2009.  Rather than just a generic website with a few bits of info, EA launched it with quite a few screens, videos, and even a contest that will have users clammering to the website.

For the contest, users can enter in to win a chance to have one of the Godfather’s characters named after them, and at the same time winning a copy of Paramount’s  The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration trilogy gift set.  The contest’s official drawing date will be September 15th, so while you do have time to get in on it, you might want to get in on it early before you forget.
