Grand Theft Auto IV, remember all of the lines at your local Gamestop or mall for the midnight release? Remember how all of your friends on Xbox Live and Playstation Network were constantly on the game, but then suddenly dropped it to go back to their other titles? Well, if you don’t, we sure do.
Countless rumors have been circulating around the internet for months talking about when the downloadable content will be surfacing for both online services, but after Weapon X’s comments in the Warzone last night, it appears that he feels confident in three things:
1) We can expect the new downloadable content for GTA IV sometime in late October/Early November.
2) We can expect a huge update for the DLC, more along the lines of episodic content or an expansion.
3) We can expect a hefty price tag in terms of downloadable content pricing, running us around 1600 MS points.
If we truly are looking at 1600 MS points, I’m going to be thinking that we’re looking more along the lines of a San Andreas or Vice City type expansion, rather than them just adding a slew of different episodes for us to tinker with. PAX 08 is approaching us, so maybe we’ll be finding out a good bit of info within the next week. We’ll keep you updated as soon as more information drops!
