Welcome to the first week ever for StickSkills.com doing a "Plays of the Week" contest.  The contest is open to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 users, and any sport video game can be used.  Whether you prefer 2k or EA, you can still easily compete in this contest as long as you upload your video highlight to the respective sites.

The contest is simple, each week, you’ll send in your best play from one of your favorite titles for a chance to be showcased in our top five plays for the week.  The article will be posted every Friday, and entering the contest is extremely simple.

To enter the contest, you need to send an e-mail to playsoftheweek@stickskills.com.  Include your username on our website and theirs, a link to your highlight, and your gamertag or playstation network ID.  If you have yet to sign up for our site, take a few minutes to register and enjoy all of the benefits.

Our staff will take the time to verify the clips sent in to make sure they’re from the person who actually performed the highlight.  The higher the difficulty, the better.  We’re not looking for highlights on rookie, we’re looking for gamers who produce high pressure situations and continue to showcase their stick skills.

Prizes will be based on how many users participate in the coming weeks, and how well the contest goes.  If you guys want prizes, be sure to spread the word about the contest, and the prizes will come.  The first weekly highlight article will be posted on the site next Friday, September 26th.  We’re looking forward to your e-mails, and if you have any questions at all, be sure to leave them below in the comments section.
