Fans of the NBA 2K series have been dying to get their hands on the demo, and well, I have some great news for you guys. If you’re a Playstation 3 owner, you’ll be able to get your hands on the demo at roughly 6pm-8pm Eastern, as long as there are no hiccups in Sony adding the demo to the Playstation Network.
If you’re an Xbox 360 owner, chances are that you’re not going to see the demo on Xbox Live Marketplace this afternoon. The maintenance that Xbox Live received, and the subsequent hiccups that have taken place, have hindered the possibility of the demo hitting Live this afternoon.
Chances are, you’ll be seeing the title on Xbox Live at some point this weekend, but there has been no official date announced as of now. Check back later on tonight for our demo impressions, and look for my article tomorow night after the conference call with the NBA 2k9 developers!
UPDATE: 2K has sent me the following press release via e-mail, basically stating that Xbox 360 owners can expect to have the demo on Xbox Live Marketplace at some point tomorrow morning. Continue reading for the full details.
