It has been confirmed by Microsoft that they will be releasing Avatar clothing theme packs.  This will be over the next 6 months.  Many people were worried that we might have to spend Microsoft Points for these.  Microsoft revealed that some of the packs will be free, so you can save up for that Rock Band song or arcade game you have been dying to get.  If you don’t believe me, then read this quote from Xbox Germany’s Boris Schneider Johne:

"More costumes will be made available for free in the next weeks. What’s going to happen as of spring is yet to be announced. If you spot Avatars that wear clothes not yet available in the Avatar Editor, those belong to beta testers who were allowed to test ALL the new clothes beforehand (for instance my chic Xbox Jersey)."
