Gamers have talked of it, dreamed of it, and prayed for this feature for years, and NBA Live is finally answering our prayers.  Coming this November, NBA Live 08 will offer full five on five gameplay that will allow up to ten xbox 360s to be connected and all participating in the same online match.

NBA Live is now giving you the ability to bring the ball up the court as a point guard and direct your fellow gamers on what play you want to run or what you plan on doing.  For years we have been using this same form of teamwork in first person shooters, and it’s finally coming to a sports game.  The ability to run as the big trio in Boston, or be apart of the fast paced offense that the Suns possess is no longer a dream, but a reality.

EA Sports received high praise with the 3 player per team feature they installed on NHL 08, and apparently the feature was important to them for Live as well.  While the feature did not make the launch, November isn’t too far away, but can’t come soon enough for NBA Live gamers.
