In a statement from Activision they have reported that Call of Duty 5 will indeed be released in the Fall of this year. Although a specific date and day are not yet announced it is good to know we will be seeing this title very soon. Call of Duty 5 will see a six platform release when it does hit store shelved later this fall.

Activision’s CEO also said that it will be set in a "new military theatre."
