Just last week here at stickskills we released an article pertainning to the rumors fluttering around the internet about the major overhaul the Xbox dashboard was going to be receiving this spring. Also included in that article was Microsoft saying there was no such update coming. They have stuck to their guns but have said there will be a fix for the dashboard coming.

What they will be doing first and foremost will be focusing on, "building the proper infrastructure and scale for the service not just today but also into the future." In other words look for another new look to the dashboard to have it looking cleaner and neater than ever before.

And the fix coming to the Xbox dashboard relates to the Xbox arcade and how you will no longer need to be logged onto Xbox Live to play the arcade games you have downloaded. While it may not be the big blockbuster update some fans were gushing over it is an improvement nonetheless. And... there is still time for Microsoft to come out and say, "Why yes... it is true."
